Health coaching is an evidence-based practice using simple behavior modification principles to assist you in making healthy lifestyle changes with a coach encouraging you in every step of your journey.
The most important aspect of a coach will be having an accountability partner holding you to your health goals, minimizing health risks, maintaining a healthy mind, and guiding you toward deadlines so you can maximize a healthy lifestyle for your happiness. Our specialty focuses on individuals experiencing Cardiac issues, Diabetes, fibromyalgia, and high cholesterol, individuals with health comorbidities ready to strive to attain a healthy lifestyle and optimize their health with minimal dependence on medication. AmHealth & Mindful Wellness is here to guide you through exercises, nutrition, health promotion activities, and health screening. Helping individuals attain their goals to manage stress, anxiety, weight loss, and wellness in a self-centered setting. Guidance in teaching you Lifestyle choices and interventions are first-line treatments for almost everything while focusing on individuals’ needs, desires, and health goals.

ABOUT: Amanda’s devoted herself to promoting health and wellness as a Personal trainer for 9 years, along with being a personal Health Coach empowering individuals and guiding people to take charge of their health goals. She received her B.S in foreign languages with a focus in Spanish and a second Major in Sports medicine where she practiced for two years before transitioning into Physical Therapy which she has been practicing since 2011 in an acute and ambulatory care setting. She received her Masters in Public Health with a Global Health concentration from Chamberlain University.
Her focus has been combining public health and wellness as a personal trainer with individuals and within communities of all ages. Providing guidance, accountability, and nutritional and training programs focus on holistic well-being while challenging oneself to reach optimal health goals by providing guidance and tools towards their health goals.
She has always had an interest in health & wellness, fitness & preventive lifestyle for disease prevention, and wellness suggestions. She loves traveling and experiencing new cultures and food.
*** She spent three months in Malawi for her public health research on decreasing the Maternal mortality rate in Malawi, and her thesis on child malnutrition.
